Orthenex is an Ortho formulation for controlling diseases, insects, and mites on roses; it contains a fungicide, (triforene which is the generic name for Funginex) along with an insecticide, (acephate), and a miticide, (hexakis). Funginex contains only the fungicide, triforene, for controlling diseases. Applying both of these products is unnecessary; use one or the other.
