What is the difference between organic or natural traffic and pay-per-click advertising?

0

The terms ‘organic traffic’ or ‘natural traffic’ are synonymous and merely mean that the visitors to your site are coming due to the words they typed into a search engine. PPC or pay-per-click advertising is paid-for search engine traffic meaning that merchants pay for ads with the hopes that people will click on them during their searches and come to your website. Organic (or natural) search engine traffic is the most high quality traffic you can get because these are people that are doing searches specific to what your website is about (i.e. what you are selling). Pay-per-click advertising can be very expensive but organic traffic is free and highly targeted.
