What is the difference between Organic Chicken & Naturally grown Chicken?
organic chicken is grown under USDA organic standards which mean the birds are fed certified organic feed (no GMO’s no antibiotics), the birds are not caged and should have daily access to the outdoors. the birds are process in a certified organic facility http://www.ams.usda.gov/nop Natural has no standards so a chicken labeled naturally grown could have been treated like an organic bird or they could have been caged, fed GMO feed laced with antibiotics. there is no way to know. now if you are talking “Certified Naturally grown” there are standards similar to organic but not controlled by the government.
