What is the difference between Open Swim and Family Swim?
Open swim is a time to come and have fun in the YMCA family pool – there are play features such as lily pads and slides. Those under the age of 6-1/2 must have an adult in the water with them. For those between the ages of 6-1/2 and 11, that cannot swim one length of the lap pool must be with a responsible person that is 12 years or older. Family swim is a time designated just for families to have fun together in the YMCA family pool.
