What is the difference between one grading service and another?
Unless youve submitted quantities of coins to all the grading services and there are approximately 20 grading services out there you may not know their standards. Not only that, it constantly changes. PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Services) and NGC (Numismatic Guarantee Corporation) are at the top of the list. You will have to pay a much higher price for their Slabs (their certified and graded coins). Then there are handfuls of other grading services: ANACS, SEGS, PCI, NNC, NTC, etc. Each company has its own finalizer who assigns the final grade.
