What is the difference between On-Demand and Live Webcasting?

0

– On-Demand content is a prerecorded media file that is archived using an On-Demand hosting account. Users can then request the On-Demand file for viewing/listening and any point in time. Examples would be mp3’s, Windows Media files, Real Media files and Quicktime files. Live Webcasting is when live media such as radio/tv is broadcast in real time. Once the broadcast is over the content is no longer available to users unless it is placed in an On-Demand archive account.
