What is the difference between Omnichord and QChord?
The Omnichord has been replaced with the QCHORD. The new QChord plays the same as the Omnichord, but has many new features: 1) 100 sounds on the strumplate instead of only ten; 2) 30 additional rhythms as an option; 3) improved sound system; 4) optional song cards can play fully orchestrated music that you just strum along with. Many of our customers, who previously played the Omnichord, tell us how happy they are with the new QChord. They really like the improved sound and the 100 more voices than the Omnichord had.The QChord is, for all practical purposes, an Omnichord. In fact, I still refer to it as an Omnichord with a new model name of QChord. It plays exactly the same as the Omnichord, but has so many more features. While it does not have the chord memory feature, the Song Card capability offers far more flexibility than the older models. Also, the QChord has Midi IN and OUT whereas older models only had a Midi OUT.
