Office is an applications program. It contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc… There are many versions out there. The latest version is Office 2003. However, some people might be using the version from 1 or 2 years ago called Office XP or Office 2002. That is the older version. In this course you must use Office 2003. Windows XP, however, is the operating system that is running on your computer. Please do not confuse the two. Windows XP is an operating system. Office 2003 is an application program!
