What is the difference between Numeric (Digital) and Alphanumeric (Word) paging?
Both pagers are capable of displaying a caller’s telephone number which can be left via any touch tone capable telephone. In addition to this, alphanumeric pagers are capable of receiving actual text messages sent via computer, messaging services, or e-mail. Alphanumeric paging can save time by allowing you to receive your messages directly without the need to return telephone calls.
