What is the difference between non-conductors & insulators?

0

Mostly when you say non-conductors,you mean electric current cannot travel through it easily. The high resistance may be the reason for this.So when current is passed through them, the temperature of the non conductors increase.Insulators do not get heated when current is passed through it.

In electricity, nonconductors & insulators mean the same, character/property, of an element.
