What is the difference between Nintendo DS vs. Nintendo DS Lite?
I own both a DS and DS Lite, and can recommend the DS Lite over the DS because: • The DS Lite is lighter and “thinner” than the DS. It is easier to hold for long periods of play. • The DS Lite screen is noticably brighter than the DS. This can make a big difference when looking for details on the screen or when playing in places that don’t have “optimal” lighting conditions. • The DS Lite stylus is thicker, which makes it easier (for me) to hold. The GBA port on the bottom of the DS Lite makes GBA cartridges stick out as opposed to the DS where they really don’t stick out much at all, if I remember correctly. Both units play all DS and GBA games. I believe I did just see that the recently released Opera browser cartridge for the DS comes in versions for DS and DS Lite, that’s the only thing I’ve seen so far that has different versions for the different versions of the DS. Overall, I’d really recommend the DS Lite instead of the DS. I’ll also include some links to my favorite DS games,
