What is the difference between niacin and niacinamide (nicotinamide)?
Niacin is a member of the Vitamin B family. It is sometimes referred to as Vitamin B3. The term niacin is used in two different ways. As a collective term, it refers to both nicotinic acid and niacinamide. Nicotinic acid and nicotinamide have identical vitamin activities, but very different pharmacological activities.
