What is the difference between NetWare Connect and the Network Communications Server?

0

A Network Communications Server is an MS Windows NT, 95, or 3.11 PC running the PC-Xpedite for Windows CE. This PC has a modem connected to it and performs all communications with the Xpedite Service for a workgroup. The PCXW Network Communications Server supports many different types of LANs, among these are Novell NetWare, MS Windows Network, Banyan Vines, and LANtastic. With NASI, NetWare Connect 1.0 or higher is required and a group of modems is connected to a PC running NetWare. Since the PC with the modems connected must be running NetWare, this solution is only supported for Novell NetWare LANs.
