What Is The Difference Between NAPLAN Data In SPeRS And The LaN Datamart?
NAPLAN data in SPeRS is summary level only, in other words you cannot see individual students results. The LaN datamart provides a comprehensive source for NAPLAN data with both summary and individual student data shown. The LaN datamart is a web-based system providing school, region and corporate users with: • A means of monitoring data relating to literacy and numeracy performance on the most recently available data and up to 5 years of history. • The ability to view student data across years. • The ability to view performance data for different student cohorts (eg Aboriginal) as well as all students. • The provision of standard reports that are easy to run and produce standardised information that will meet the needs of most users. • The facility to create customised analytical reports with simple click and drag functionality.
