What is the difference between NAET and acupuncture?

0

NAET is when they use the energy vials combined with acupressure on your spine. Acupuncture is when the acupuncture points on different areas of the body are stimulated (via needles, stimulator or laser). This is not necessary for NAET but it will usually be done.

Though both NAET and acupuncture are considered very effective types of alternative medicine, they are quite different. NAET is an Allergy Elimination Technique named after Devi S. Nambudripad, M.D., the doctor who created this technique, which uses a blend of many types of non-invasive, drug free techniques to rid the body of allergies. Though acupuncture is sometimes used in NAET, so is acupressure, energy balancing, kinesiology and allopathy treatments. The patient also holds a glass vial containing the allergen during NAET. Acupuncture, on the other hand,  is the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles into specific acupuncture points around the body. This treatment is used to relieve a wide variety of ailments, from physical pain, such as headaches and back problems, to emotional issues and, yes, allergies.
