What is the difference between NACCO Class A and Class B stock?
NACCO Class A Common Stock is publicly traded and listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NC. Each share of Class A Common Stock is entitled to one vote for each matter properly brought before the shareholders. NACCO Class B Common Stock was issued in 1986 as a stock dividend to then current holders of NACCO Class A Common Stock in connection with the formation of the NACCO parent company. Each share of Class B Common Stock is entitled to ten votes for each matter. Common Stock is equal in respect of rights to dividends and any other distributions in cash, stock or property of the Company. Each share of Class B Common Stock can be converted into one Class A Share. Class B shares are not publicly traded.
