What is the difference between my PID number and my PIN number?

• Your PID is your UNC OneCard Personal Identification Number. If you do not have a UNC OneCard, but have a library borrower’s card, your PID is your library card number. Your PIN is a 4 digit number used, along with your PID to login to MyLibrary. If it is your first time logging in to MyLibrary, enter any 4 digits at the PIN prompt on this screen. Once you hit submit, you will be asked to reset your PIN to any 4 digit number. Type in the PIN you just entered in the first blank and the same (or a new) PIN in the second blank and hit submit, and your PIN will be set to the last PIN you entered. If you need to find your PID, use the PID On-Line Inquiry page.
