The visual difference between the two tanks is that the Q.C.C.1 tank has outside threads on the valve. The technical difference is that the Q.C.C.1 valve has a two-step redundant valve system, which does not allow the gas to flow until a positive connection is made with a propane appliance. This valve is an added safety measure that ensures for a worry-free cooking experience. The Q.C.C.1 valve is one of many features offered as part of our GAS GUARDIANTM System.
