What is the difference between MultiFormat and Secure Formats?
eBooks marked [MultiFormat] are available in as many as 12 different file formats, and are not encrypted. These formats include: Adobe [.PDF], Microsoft [.LIT], Palm Doc [.PDB], Rocket/REB1100 [.RB], Franklin [.FUB], Hiebook [.KML], Sony Reader [.LRF], Isilo [-IS.PDB], Mobipocket [.PRC], Kindle [.MOBI], OEBFF Full VGA [.IMP], OEBFF Half VGA [.IMP]. Note that although these files are not encrypted, you are still bound by copyright law and you may not distribute these eBooks to other people.EBooks marked [Secure Mobipocket], [Secure Microsoft Reader], [Secure Adobe Reader 7.0] or [eReader] are available in that format as an encrypted file. Secure Mobipocket eBooks can be read on PCs or virtually all handheld devices. Secure Microsoft Reader files can be read on PCs with Microsoft Reader 2.0, or on Pocket PC 2002 handheld devices. Secure Adobe Reader 7.0 files can be read on on PCs or Macs with the Adobe Reader 7.0 software, or on handheld devices running the PalmOS v3.
