What is the difference between MRDF and Methodist Church Funds?
The distinction lies with the organisations we work with. World Church Relationships (WCR) work primarily with our 61 partner churches around the world engaging in exciting mission projects and initiatives. They do this by administering grants from the World Mission Fund (WMF). On the home ground, we work with churches engaged in mission all over Britain. The Methodist Relief and Development Fund (MRDF) makes small miracles possible for the most vulnerable people living in the world’s poorest countries through: · Long- term development · Emergency relief and · Campaigning against the causes of poverty. MRDF’s main focus is long-term development which helps make people less vulnerable to disasters.
