What is the difference between mousse and hairspray?
Assalaamu alaykum. Mousse comes out in a creamy, foamy state and is applied to damp hair before styling for either more hold or volume. It’s also sprayed onto the hands and then applied to hair. Hairspray comes out in a fine mist and is applied after styling for a firm hold and to keep stray hairs away. It’s directly sprayed onto the hair.
