What is the difference between monotonous and monogamous?
Monotonous means something that is repetitive and seems to drag on. Like a lecture. Example: This history class is so monotonous I can hardly pay attention. Monogamous – mono is one – one partner is technically what it means, versus polygamous which means more than one. Example: In America, men are monogamous under the law as they are only prescribed to have one wife.
