NEHT Mileage Awards are cumulative, separately, for both horse and rider and accumulate as long as the horse and rider are registered each year. Mileage is retained for life, and can be reactivated after a lapse for a fee of $25. Breed Awards are offered by outside sponsors and are for the high mileage horse in the current year only.
