What is the difference between Micro-Filtered Whey and Ultra-Filtered Whey? Is there a downside to using the Ultra type?
I dont know what Ultra-Filtered Whey is. I suggest that it is merely a manufacturers name for the product they are producing. I have no way of being able to tell you whether or not they are manufacturing good quality Micro-Filtered Whey. Read the labels carefully, for there are a great deal of fillers often added to products. Often there is an attempt to make the products appear to be Micro-Filtered Whey when it is also mixed with other ingredients, such as ordinary whey, which is much cheaper to manufacture.
