What is the difference between Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering?
Mechanical Engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the application of principles of physics for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. In mechanical system as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, energy and materials, aeronautical is also part of Mechanical but specialisation in that area. There is no difference between Aeronautical and aerospace. Aerospace engineering is the branch of engineering that concerns aircraft, spacecraft, and related topics. Aerospace Engineering was originally known as aeronautical engineering and dealt solely with aircraft.
