WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAT AND PILATES REFORMER, AND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO LEARN?

0

Everybody is different, but generally speaking the pilates reformer will offer more assistance to anyone who is deconditioned, just starting out, or plagued with nagging injuries from the past. All beginner classes include both components, learning the principles on the mat. Sometimes classes are not suitable for individuals, to name a few, who may have extreme pain, injuries, or osteoporosis. Too many modifications are required and it is best to book private sessions. If you think this may be your situation please e-mail Kathleen McKay at proactive@telus.net with details of your situation and to see if you would be suitable for a class or privates. It is always best to check with your doctor first.
