What is the difference between Main, Reference, and Inspection Identifiers?
• Main Identifiers are chosen by the Inspector at the start of an inspection session to identify the specific part or form. Fields include the Setup name, Level names, Part/Form name, and Unique ID name. • Reference Identifiers are cross-reference identifiers that are displayed to the Inspector. Examples of possible fields include cross-reference numbers such as alternate part numbers, and vendor or manufacturer identification. • Inspection Identifiers are data fields in which the Inspector provides general information that applies to the entire inspection. Example fields include Date of Manufacture, Shift, Operator, Assembly Line, etc. Note that these fields can be individually specified as required or optional.
