What is the difference between Mail Accounts and Mail Aliases?

Mail Accounts e-mail is stored on our server and downloaded to your mail client. Mail Aliases are used to simply forward mail to another Mail Account either on our server or on someone else’s. For example, you may have a mail user call KBrown@yourdomainname.com. Then you have an alias sales@yourdomainname.com that forwards all mail to KBrown@yourdomainname.com.
