Maalox® contains aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide. Maalox® Sugar-Free is the same as Maalox®, but has no sugar (glucose or saccharose) and so it is suitable for people who have diabetes or those who wish to reduce the amount of sugar in their diet. Maalox® Plus has an additional active ingredient called simethicone which helps to provide relief from excess gas and wind (flatulence).
