What is the difference between low fidelity and high fidelity simulators?
A. Low fidelity simulators offer a lower cost path for conducting simulation exercises. A low fidelity system operates a subset of the processes a high fidelity simulator offers, and does not include testing of the entire system database or other non-combustion control points. A high fidelity system offers a more intensive, true to life simulation, creating an exact replica of the existing plant environment, DCS, and more.
