What is the difference between lofted and bunked beds?

0

A lofted bed is on a frame that is elevated four to five feet off the floor. The benefits are wonderful for rooms with limited space as it creates space for a study/storage area underneath the bed. Only select single rooms will have lofted beds because of the placement of a built in closet and how the rooms were originally designed. Bunked beds are two beds constructed one above the other.
