What is the difference between Lions Lagniappe and Declining Balance Dollars?
Declining Balance Dollars are associated with your Meal Plan and represents the flexible portion of your Meal Plan that is spent at any campus dining facility. While Lion’s Lagniappe dollars can be used at any campus dining facility, your Lion’s Lagniappe account can also be used to make other on-campus purchases, including the Bookstore, the Document Source, vending machines, copy machines, residential hall laundry facilities, Health Services and the Student Activity Center. Declining Balance Dollars can only be spent at campus dining facilities. Lion’s Lagniappe basically allows your ID to be used like a debit card to make a variety of on-campus purchases.
