What is the difference between linear and angular speed?

0

The linear speed is the speed of an object along its path of motion. Angular speed is harder to explain without a diagram. It’s how fast an object is changing its angle (rotating) about an axis. To use angular speed, you’ll need to have a couple things, a reference point and the distance from that point to a point on the path of motion (also known as the radius).
