What is the difference between licensure by exam and licensure by credentials or qualifications?
Licensure by credentials applies to dentists who have a current license in another state for 5 years or hygienists who have a current license in another state for 3 years. Licensure by examination is for newly graduated applicants, dentist who have not practiced for more then five years, or hygienists who have not practiced for more then 3 years.
