5a. Basically, when you lease a beat you are not buying the full/absolute rights of the beat. The beat still belongs to the producer and your are limited as to what you can do with the beat. When you purchase exclusive rights to a beat, the beat is yours. You become the official owner and you can do as you please (beside re-selling it). As a result, exclusive rights are more expensive.
