What is the difference between koi and carp?
Koi are a type of Carp, there are dozens of different species. So all Koi are Carp, but not all Carp are Koi. Care? Set up a BIG pond, with some serious filtering, feed them and do some water changes and they are easy care. Keeping them in a small aquarium, you will just be struggling with water quality untill they grow too big, get stunted and die.
