What is the difference between invisible braids and tree braids?
The difference, essentially, is how they are braided in. With invisible braids, they’re often micro braids, meaning they are braided very thin and tiny. The natural hair is conditioned by relaxing or hot combing to make sure its texture is similar to to the extension hair. The braids are secured very tightly at the roots because they aren’t braided in very much…. maybe about an inch, if even that much…. then it’s left loose (not braiding down to the tip): http://www.braidsbynina.com/images/catal… I guess they’re called “invible” because it looks very much like the braids are coming right out of the scalp, like strands of hair, or closer to the appearance of a hair weave. Tree braids are different. Tree braids are essentially cornrows done a little differently. (http://www1.istockphot
