What is the difference between intensive professional development hours and classroom follow-up hours?
Intensive professional development activities are initially targeted learning opportunities intended to improve the content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, and instructional strategies of teachers. Classroom follow-up activities must be directly related to the focus of the intensive training and build on the intensive phase rather than introduce a new focus. The classroom follow-up has a clear link to the implementation of the knowledge and skills gained through the intensive phase of the CaMSP project. The classroom follow-up must be conducted after the intensive phase.
