What is the difference between intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser as they apply to cosmetic use?
Both types of light energy may be used to treat abnormal pigment and vessels and do hair removal, as well as stimulate collagen production. IPL tends to have more effect on the upper skin structures while the laser targets the deeper structures, such as the leg veins.
