What is the difference between IB and AP classes?
The IB Diploma Program offers the highly motivated and able student an opportunity to challenge him/herself in six curricular areas while pursuing a special diploma recognized worldwide. By doing this the student will assure him/herself of meeting maximum requirements for matriculation at virtually every college or university in every national system. IB students not only excel in academic courses and perform well on international tests, they also develop into contributors to the community and independent thinkers and learners. The IB Program culminates in testing which offers student the opportunity to qualify for college credit via testing and performance. AP classes offer students challenging instruction and the opportunity to qualify for college credit via testing.
