What is the difference between HDTV and Digital Cable?
DTV – digital television – is designed to deliver digital pictures to standard TV sets through an existing TV. Our new digital cable box connects to your TV the same way as our current boxes, translating digital TV signals so standard television sets can display them. In contrast, HDTV, or high definition television, must be received on an HDTV set with a special tuner that customers must purchase before they can view the programming.
