What is the difference between green gas, electric and spring airsoft guns?
A.) Electric Guns Electric airsoft guns require batteries (usually AA). These airsoft guns are usually less expensive and made of plastic. There is also AEGs which mean (Automatic Electric Gun). You will find these in electric rifles. These can range anywhere from cheaper plastic guns to the high end metal guns. AEGs utilize a rechargeable battery pack that can be purchased where airsoft accessories are sold. Gas Guns These guns are powered by a gas source that will release gas once activated to fire the airsoft gun. Green Gas is the most common source used in airsoft gas guns. Gas can typically be found wherever airsoft accessories are sold. Spring Guns These are the most basic airsoft gun and typically the cheapest. The power by the guns is in a spring that once manually cocked will release the energy needed to power a projectile. In other words, you cock the gun and pull the trigger to shoot the bullet.
