What is the difference between GMP and ISO?

They are not totally seperate. There some common areas. They both involve a lot of documentation. The choice of standard to choose will depend on your target market and their requirments. If other companies doing the same kind of labeling have ISO, then you have to go ISO first. If they have mostly GMP, then you have to go GMP. Btw, I was a ISO 9000:1994 internal auditor and management represtative for Quality. You can get ISO 9000 certified, but still only marginaly benefit from it. If you set up your quality system in the right way for you, you can benefit a lot from it.
