What is the difference between Gildan and American Apparel?
We offer Gildan and American Apparel for $12 and $15, respectively. The difference is that while the Gildan shirts are perfectly fine (and the women’s Gildans still cut for women), the American Apparel are constructed of ringspun cotton, which is noticably softer. The American Apparel shirts are also more fitted in both the men and women’s versions, and weigh less. Are the pillow cases soft? Can you feel the graphic? The pillow cases are very soft, and the printing process that we use involves dying the threads of the fabric themselves rather than laying plastisol over the top. The result is that the printed area of your pillow case will feel no different whatsoever from the non-printed area, giving you a soft, smooth place to lay your noggin down.
