What is the difference between gay/lesbian and bisexual?
A person who is gay or lesbian has primary romantic, emotional, and sexual attractions to someone of the same gender. A person who is bisexual, however, has primary romantic, emotional, and sexual attractions to someone both of the same gender and the opposite gender. For each person who is bisexual, the amount of which they are attracted to either gender varies.
