What is the difference between frost print (HFCSF) and surface etching?
High-Fire Crystal Satin Finish printing is nearly identical when compared to surface etching. We recommend printing for large scale production as it is a more economical solution requiring only one set up. Etched products are ideal for shorter runs, one-off’s, glass that is not suited for printing or jobs that require a special artistic touch. With further etching, relief is cut into the glass creating a three-dimentional effect. Paints, inks and glitters can be dropped-filled into these relief’s resulting in stunning and unique works of art.
