What is the difference between formal recruitment and informal recruitment?
Formal recruitment (or winter recruitment) is an organized process that encourages you to meet every chapter. Formal recruitment only happens once a year, and every chapter extends bids during winter recruitment. Informal recruitment takes place in the fall and spring. Only some of the chapters participate in informal recruitment, and those who do partake in the process organize their own events.
