The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for areas of Southwestern Virginia through Friday morning. Southeast Amherst Co. and Northeastern Bedford Co. are under warning until 4:15 a.m. Friday. Locations in the warning include but are not limited to Big Island, Pleasant View and Amherst. The City of Bedford, Northern Campbell Co., City of Lynchburg, Appomattox Co. and Central Bedford Co. are under warning until 5:15 a.m. Friday.
