What is the difference between first class and business class airfare?
If you’re flying from Sydney, you’d most likely be taking Qantas. Qantas has First, Business, and Economy class. Economy class international is the same as Economy domestic, just with a personal TV so you’re not too bored. Business/First Class international is a totally different story than the same thing domestic. In Business or First Class you’re likely to find lie flat seats (airplane seats that convert into beds), enhanced entertainment, more space, better food, private airport lounges, faster check in, separate security lines, better service, and a better overall flight experience. When you break down First and Business class you will find the primary difference is in the seats. Both offer similar services at the airport, similar food (probably more choices in First, though), similar entertainment (possibly more choices in First), and similar service. What you’ll find is that the real difference is the seats. First class seats are usually wider and roomier than Business class seat
