What is the difference between fieldwork and internship?

0

Our program and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) require students to complete a minimum of 1200 hours of school psychology fieldwork. Students who complete the credential coursework (except EdPs 560, 527, and 536, and 642) and the master’s degree are eligible to apply for an internship credential. The internship credential is awarded by CTC and generally benefits the student by allowing him or her to more money while completing fieldwork hours. In short, all graduates of the program complete a fieldwork experience; some hold internship credentials and others do not.
